The House of Clay LA

Had a great experience at The House of Clay LA! The instructor provided a helpful introductory lesson and then gave us the time to explore our own creative ideas and styles. The space was beautiful and cozy. I left feeling creative, inspired, and would definitely recommend as a fun afternoon idea in the city!

Had such a great date night experience making ramen bowls. Everything was detailed and organized nicely. Our teachers were very kind and encouraging. Loved the experience making bowls on the balcony. Would book another session! Can’t wait to use our creations!

Such a fun class! The instructor was lovely and made pottery feel approachable for beginners, and I loved getting to create my own matcha bowl. Can't wait to come back and make another piece!

Daisy is a fantastic teacher! Our mini ceramics class was an absolute highlight. The instructors walked us through a variety of creative mini pieces, offering hands-on guidance every step of the way. Whether you're a complete beginner or have some experience with pottery, the atmosphere makes it easy to relax, get creative, and have a great time. The view is stunning!! There's something really special about crafting with your hands while overlooking the beautiful downtown skyline, it adds an extra layer of magic to the whole experience. I can't recommend House of Clay enough to anyone looking for a unique, fun, and fulfilling outing. This is the kind of place you'll want to come back to again and again!

This was so much better than I had expected. We did the hand building class as a girls' day out activity and loved sitting on the patio with a great breeze and view while working with our hands. Our instructor was super sweet and patient and explained everything to us really clearly. Can't wait to see how our pots turned out.

My husband and I did a date night mug-making class here and it was genuinely one of the best evenings we've had in a long time. We were out on the patio as the sun was setting — seriously the most perfect backdrop — and our instructor Daisy was absolutely wonderful. She gave us just enough guidance to actually know what we were doing while fully encouraging us to make our own design choices. Nothing felt rushed or overly structured. It felt creative and relaxed all at once. Daisy has such a warm, lovely energy that made the whole experience feel special. We can't wait to come back!
